Family Rebrand
Style Guide & Website images, 2020

Going through my process for this, I really wanted to challenge myself. Before this semester, I didn’t have a lot of work in the graphic design area that I was too proud of. I needed more work and experience to progress as a designer. Over the years my father has been running his own company for heating and cooling in Indianapolis that reaches out to surrounding cities as well. Through time, I realized it would be a great idea to try and rebrand my dad’s company fully. I wanted to change the logo, create a style guide and design a new website. It was very important to my parents and me to keep a similar identity but more so just freshen up their look. I felt like I could cover a spectrum of interests for where I could go in the future. I want this work to help support me as a piece in my portfolio and also this may have some use in the real world if it is successful. For my logo design decisions, I wanted to keep things really simple but still keep the original feel that my father intended for the business. I went to my parents a lot for feedback since they are the clients in this case. That would be good practice for the future where I have to work with the clients while also trying my best to do my job!
