My focus over the last four years has primarily been graphic design, which is what I am exhibiting in my final series of work. These series of cards showcase my skills and personal style! Using different typography fonts, illustrations and layout design techniques these cards emphasize my creativity and passion for art. Hand drawn lettering is visually appealing to me and my style in which I brought that similar design into my cards.
Crafting cards requires a lot of layout and design techniques. Some of my cards focus on sketch figures inspired by fashion and dolls designed in interesting ways. The texture and regularity shown throughout my designs shows consistency and balance. I incorporated illustrations of women featuring different colors and including diversity representing my friendships. The animal print outlines on my cards are constructed to make them bolder and more personalized. My color palette choices are very bright, vibrant and electric. I believe my creative work expresses who I am and my personality, and I hope it inspires other young artists!
