Animation Skeleton for “When The Music Stops”
Digital images, 2020

Music, to many, is a way to privately express yourself; But for me music was alway something to be shared and enjoyed with others. This animation is exploring a character's fondness for certain music that their family enjoyed during their younger years. Now older and away from home, The character finds comfort in the music their family was always playing in the background. I wanted this short to encapsulate how music is tied into the memories that we make, and how it affects the way we remember them.

Presented for the gallery are the bones of an animation entitled “When the Music Stops.” All pieces are meant to provide a glimpse behind the scenes of this animation and provide a look at my own individual process, which has been just as important to me as the memory itself.
