I struggled to find my personal style as a visual artist. My creative work is consistently aesthetically pleasing. However, I never crafted art in a specific personal style that reflected my experience and beliefs. The collection of graphics on display here was created during the Covid-19 pandemic, a time of quarantine and large amounts of isolation. During this time, I was able to try new hobbies, learn new things, and eventually find my own artistic and graphic style.
People have described my graphics as psychedelic, trippy, or stimulating; however I feel my style can be better labeled as an introspective peek into my consciousness. These images were designed in Illustrator with further refinements in Photoshop. The phrases, or mantras, depicted are personal sayings that I have found contain truth and have been beneficial to my personal growth, not only as an artist, but as a person.
