Attention, Seekers!
Proposed Campaign, Physical Artifacts, Website, Instagram, 2020

This project, Attention, Seekers! aimed to raise awareness about the mental health of college students and introduce those students to resources around UK’s Campus. This project was inspired by personal experience: when I came to college I wasn't aware of what mental health resources were available. It’s still something I deal with but I can manage it better with the resources that I was offered. I started out with the name. People are often called “Attention Seekers” if they speak openly about their mental health. My goal was to take that and make it into something positive. Then came the logo and design of the cards that were attached to keys. The goal was to hide the keys around UK’s campus that had statistics and resources on the cards. People were supposed to just stumble upon the keys and receive information that they may need. UK has great resources for mental health, but they tend to get overlooked. Overall, the biggest goals for this project were to give people what I didn’t have when I first came to UK and to hopefully help those in the same situation.
